Funny =)
You also need to post the finished photo, not just the video.

Anyone and everyone should post anything, and as much as you can! Everything we get is fun to see and inspirational, even if it does not win.

Ok so I messed up and forgot to take enough photos through the process but hope these will do.
Equipment used, a sponge, #4 round brush, gold liquid bling

I sponged on DFX Pink for the base of the mask and then sponged DFX green (forget which green though, sorry) around the edge.
Next I took DEFX Metallix green and pink and lined the eyes and mask edge. I used a dry brush and blended the metallix colours into the mask base.
I then used DFX white, yellow and red on one brush and made the little flowers around the mask.
Next I added the white dots and the black swirls to fill in any gaps. I tried to remember my shadow lesson from Pashur around the edge but I used the wrong black and it wasn't blendning so I quit while I was ahead. LOL
Yellow dots in the flowers and outlines with gold bling and there was my girl ready to party.
It looked so much better in person, I need to get a better camera....someone actually stopped her on the beach and asked me howit was stuck on her face...I was so proud!! I know that people here can do alot better but, they actually thought it was a real mask. How cool was that??? Sorry, I'm rambling...Smile

Somewhere over the rainbow!

Post by FantasyFunFaces on Sat Mar 20, 2010 6:36 pm

Using the rainbow Arty Brush cake and a small square of sponge, apply a swoosh at the eye area as shown. Using white and a #7 round brush create and egg shape at the bottom, teardrops at the top and swirls at random along the rainbow.

Using the #0 round brush for detail, I outlined the egg shape, as well as created the crack effect on the egg and hightlighted the swirls and teardrops. Again with the white I used a #2 round brush to add the star or "shining" effect and randomly place dots. Shading of the egg was done in gray with a #4 flat.

I should be ashamed for showing my gray hair to everyone!!! I think I need to set a date with Revlon!!!
