I don't know if it's acrylic based, but it is white Kryolan. It survived the shipping during the winter storms (I didn't know better, and the shop didn't care to warn me... but a big thanks to the forum for the heads-up). But good point, nonetheless.

So, I also am not talented in estimating. I only bought a 4 oz bottle of prosec. So, with that new knowledge, I probably made 7 oz of paint... still could have done just fine with 2. Very Happy

OK, not had that problem...but I do pretty much poof/ trickle glitter directly onto the skin. And as said I think, I have a stiff sort of mini washing up brush (like for dishes but it was sold in the beauty section of a chemist here) that flicks off excess pretty well. And remember this IS waterprrof and lasting, depending on how much paint you mixed in. I have done this on models at home and taken a 20 min walk then a bus ride with them fully dressed, to get to shoot location. Its not like body paint it rarely smudges. And often looks betetr after a shower as that takes off the excess if not rubbed as well!

It COULD be the glitter type too - there are so many different types/ particle sizes...

The FWW sponges I now Facade body art use to put the glitter ON the glue rather than take it off, she dips into her pots and presses it in that way, don't know if that is what you heard about?

I was at a dept store and found one among the nail care stuff! It reminds me of a baby's hairbrush. I was excited to find one! I said to my husband "this will solve everything! He didn't get it.

Bay's hair brush? Sounds a bit too soft. If glitter is stuck to the skin you need something stiff to budge it, sort of flick it off - soft stuff just glides over it...

It looks just like the one in your pic, with the round cup-like cover and everything... I only looked at it a minute when I opened it. Yep... super soft. I'm wondering if a nail brush might do the trick? It's a bit more bristle-y

I think the brush you are talking about is a facial exfoliater. You are supposed to use them for applying facial cleansers etc in the shower.
Funnily enough I have one that vibrates...... why does that sound rude?
Embarassed
great Idea though.... i'm going to try it out.
I'm wondering if the shower works.... did you try wiping it off with non-alcoholic baby wipes?

yep triedthat too. I'm in editing mode to remove it now. Lightroom has presets you can use.. the Eyes and Teeth whiten is working well enough that I can get it to look more like pimples , less like rash, and easier to spot-remove, or take it to photoshop and mask the non-glittered areas and make them disappear through some trick my hubs knows.
I know just enough about both programs to get around... he does the advanced stuff.

Oh and i'd say no to babywipes.
Not just cos of the reaction possibilities but slo most have some il or moisturiser in which makes the sticking thing WORSE.
And I know from experience some of the glitters 'catch' the fabric of a tissue or wipe and then you get wee fluffy white wisps sticking to the glued glitter.
Sigh...
