Photographing Glitter Tattoos

Post by CABBYJ on Fri Mar 05, 2010 8:01 am

I really need to get photos up of glitter tattoo examples, but every time I photograph them the picture is awful. Any advice for photographing them? Flash on, flash off, do I need natural light?

I'm thinking I need a new camera, hubby thinks otherwise. Very Happy

Use a really good light source and no flash.
You can also use a flash if you step back from it and use a camera with a good high res zoom.
I have also been able to get good ones using Macro settings.

yep, use Macro if it has that setting, that will make a big difference.

Plus it is hard to snap glitter - it has to be seen in the flesh. All the pro shoots I have done the photogs still can't get it perfect...
