The Catholic Church picnic was definately the most interesting event we have done to date!
On our first day there (three day event), I had painted hibiscus flowers as a necklace and matching around my eye. A carny working there came up to me and said I looked like a tropical paradise..........eww.

The only other weird request I could think of was a grown man asking if I could paint the confederate flag on his face.
Um, no.
That was at a Salute to Soldiers day.

my wierdest request so far was from a cute little five years old girl with blond hair and round pink spectacles : she asked for a catcher cat?!?

I've painted a cat with bruises (hum, we do what we can sometimes)
(she also requested the winner belt but i said i have no more time for it)

I had also a boy who tell me step by step how his own super hero look like, the result was not really nice but the kids was very happy with it (and for me it's the most important point of my work. I never refuse requests like batman for a cute little girl or add some sparkles in pirate boy design ;-))

and the tea pot is so lovely!!!

At the shopping centre we did, I had a boy ask for "3 red stripes on his right cheek, 5 orange dots on his left cheek, 5 yellow tiger stripes on his forehead and a gold line on his chin." He was about 10 and had been thinking about it for a bit.

I know this is a really old thread but I had a request the other night and I had to post.
I had an 11 year old girl ask for a duck-mermaid, she apparently was a trend setter because after that every 5th/6th grade girl in the place wanted a duck mermaid, and all monochromatic. Each girl wanted it in varying shades of their favorite color. I specialize in detailed cheek art so that's how I did it and I have to admit, as bizarre as it was it came out pretty cute, didn't get a pic though:(

I got asked for Woody from Toy Story the other day.... Really? Oh, and a lightening bug. Then my very first outing, a lady got really mad at me for refusing to paint her precious little one in the baby stroller... it was her Shih Tzu.

Wow some pretty far out ones.

Best I have is a kid that wanted to be a potato.

Me: You mean like a Mr. Potato Head?

Him: Nope, just a regular potato.

Kids are funny.

We usually get request from older men to be painted like some movie star or make them look younger.
Mostly our request are for normal things but usually things we haven't practiced.
Aerosmith logo or something along that line. We usually say show us a picture and we'll try, that is if the line is short, otherwise we tell them to pick from what we can do and bring that idea for the other one the next time. Smile!!
