Here is a crown I did in a hurry for my daughter when I needed a fast one for a high volume corporate event. I never timed it but this is the one I did the most when I did over 75 kids in 3 hrs. I used metallic white on eyelids and up onto the forehead and the cheeks, metallic baby blue on eye lids, the rest with a split that Anna Wilinski and I made at her place last month...all dfx metallics, the white and black are dfx as well and the lips are metallic red (more pink though). I use a sponge on a handle now for my split designs except roses...the colour holds much better to a sponge, I was never a fan of brushed on split cake designs, I like vibrant colours.. my daughter just turned 5 but on older kids, I'd line the eyes too.



Forgot to add that I think this design is one I saw Rebecca do at Bodyssey and I might have 'borrowed it' and adapted it LOL

This one is like a tropical rainbow cake. Pink, orange, yellow turqois and blue

Black, blue turquois, silver white

black purple silver white

Red, orange, silver, white
