Idea, especially for those of you who do airbrush tattoo
I\'m rewriting this because I think it was confusing some people.
If you do airbrush tattoos, it\'s a good idea to offer care/removal instructions. I found a way to offer something nice looking that won\'t cost an arm and a leg. It's better than paper photocopies I've seen many people hand out.
Vistaprint offers free business cards, that are NOT ideal for your personal business card, I recommend either designing your own card or having someone design it and uploading it and paying for your personalized design...
So- noting that. These cards look pretty nice for the care instruction cards, and only cost $5 for them to ship. You offer your personalized/designed business card or business card magnet AND the care card, which will probably be thrown away after their tattoo fades. To have care instructions on your business card is too much information for a business card, so I recommend giving out both.

Yikes. That is basically the opposite of how I feel about my marketing material.

I get my business cards there and they turn out great. I pay extra for the glossy finish and printing on the back, but it's still very inexpensive. I print the washing off instructions on the back. You don't have to use their templates, I actually recommend you don't so you show you're unique. I create the design and upload the whole image. I like vistaprint for short runs of items as they have so many specials so it works out perfect for us that run a one man show.

I get my banners, signs, and postcards from there too.

I paid the extra and got printing on both sides. Color, front and back, I think for less than $20. The removal instructions are an easy way to get my business card into the hands of every festival customer. And I thank the forum for passing along such a great idea.
I got a basic design that resembles my web page, and chose not to use images of my work. There's plenty on the site, and I can more easily update the site than I can a business card, especially one that is already given out. My ability has improved so much since I first started, and I can only hope to feel the same a year from now about what I'm doing now.

I'm not talking about business cards here, I'm talking about cards that give direction on temporary tattoo care. Business cards and marketing material are another story-I do graphic design and would never suggest to skimp on marketing design! Please read the whole post LOL

Actually, I feel that anything you hand to a potential customer is marketing material : )
Re: Idea, especially for those of you who do airbrush tattoo

This is the front and back of my card. I also purchased magnets, in hopes that would encourage people not to throw it in his or her pocket or purse and forget about it.
I am offering the airbrush instructions on the free cards, they are on a nice template, so it's not like they'll look bad by any means.

overnightprints.com has higher quality paper, generally quicker shipping, and they don't surprise you with a bunch of hidden fees. I got my "free" business cards from vista print and it costed me $65. I got better ones from Overnight Prints for $55.
Their site works the same way as far as uploading your own stuff, but I think their quality is nicer.

I agree. Why not combine instructions card with business card? Bigger chance they will keep it and you have an excuse to give it to them =)
Re: Idea, especially for those of you who do airbrush tattoo
thanks for the other site marvelous masks. I still fully believe that your business card should remain your business card and shouldn't include a bunch of other info that they can get on your website, or available on a separate piece, but everyone has their own way of doing things, and it's cool. This was just an idea, if it doesn't work for some of you, then that's cool too.
Re: Idea, especially for those of you who do airbrush tattoo
They also sell the 9x4 cards that are great to give out to potential clients.
Re: Idea, especially for those of you who do airbrush tattoo
I put my removal instructions on the back of my card
Perfect excuse to hand out a lot of them

You can still have a real business card with nothing but your info and some pictures =)
I just think it is a good idea to have your homepage (and maybe some pictures) on the instructions card also, so they can find you again.
