I just got the strangest email. There is a woman that is looking for a clown face painter in NY NY and emailed me in Utah. I would love to do it but I doubt she could afford me (with my travel fees getting to NY) Is there anyone that you can think of that you could tell me? Thanks

Sounds like Scam to me. Be careful.

I got one a week or so ago, wanted a painter to paint 10 bodies for his client, and blah, blah blah. I initially responded asking where, when, and what for. They responded with what was the price with out answering my questions...It quickly became clear that it was a scam.

They must think that we are really stupid or money hungry.

Very true Jenny. I have gotten a lot of fake emails from competitors but this one sounds real. She offered enough info to sound real but doesnt mean it always is.

I got a scam last fall wanting party entertainment, but the person contacting me wanted to send the money to me, and then I was to pay his event planner. If you have an event planner, why isn't that person contacting me, instead of you? It's a shame that everyone has to be so watchful and somewhat suspicious of everyone anymore!
