Does Wolfe Golden Bronze (skinz) Exist??????

Last August I placed an order with a Canadian Wolfe distributor and just recently got MOST of my order (I know.... 8 month delay is a bit much). Instead of getting Golden Bronze which I was told was discontinued, I received metallic orange (just love the way they assume that would be OK). When I contacted the distributor, I was told that there was a Golden Brown and asked if I wanted that one. So, I went on the Wolfe site to check out the color and couldn't find Golden Brown, but I did find Golden Bronze which is what I initially ordered.

What's going on??? Does anyone have insight as to the availability of Wolfe Golden Bronze?

8... EIGHT... ??? MONTHS???? Geez... I would have cancelled it and gone somewhere else... and substituting without authorization in advance isn't very good customer service.

Cancelling definitely crossed my mind but I was told that it wasn't their fault as Wolfe was having problems fulfilling their obligations of providing supplies so I figured it was probably the same with every distributor and I wouldn't be any further ahead.

Substituting a metallic orange when I was looking for a bronze didn't impress me. I'm glad that bronze sculptures don't have this problem..... it would be really funny to see an orange sculpture of a bucking bronc on a coffee table!! lol

I've got a couple of Canadian suppliers that I've had good luck with (although, one is carrying more DFX now and my last order I was able to only get Wolfe UV Blue and White... the rest had to be DFX but the colours were pretty much the same.)

Wolfe Fx does have a Golden Bronze which is not a shimmer makeup as is the Metallix Orange you received. Two very different colors.

At one point Wolfe changed suppliers of their major pigments, then and since major industry changes, they have been working to make all their paint pigments meet FDA standards as well as EU standards. Tricky as the various countries have varied standards and any company certainly wants to avoid making several formulations of the same product. So product was low and some changes were made - not sure that really is any reason someone would not refund your sale after a few weeks! Eight months - that has nothing to do with Wolfe - I mean come'on.

I do know some new Metallix colors are coming.
