Transformers and Mermaids

Post by Kristal on Mon Apr 12, 2010 6:36 pm

Yay last minute bookings! I'm keen on finding some Transformer and full-face mermaid-esque designs...would love to see if you guys have those in your portfolios! I know Shannon's posted her Optimus Prime (?) somewhere...

Thanks in advance!

Ha! That's what I don't want to happen Razz I already had to turn down Iron Man last week...

But considering this party is a split between Tinkerbelle and Transformers, I figure I should have some designs just in case...

Thanks Suzi! Those get the juices flowing!

You can always have a stencil ready too if the transformer full face takes too long. I have a transformer in my airbrush stencil collection I can show you...if you have a burner to make one.

If it's Tinkerbelle, then don't you want some fairy designs? If so, I have a whole line of fairies that I could show you that were inspired by the tinkerbelle movies. I've seen them all... the neighbor girl I babysit for watches them like they're crack and she needs her next high.... it's ridiculous.

I do a mermaid just like a fairy crown except with water droplets and seashells. Sometime with a few fish scales down the sides . Sorry don't have a pic.

Shannon does it again! Haha thanks!

The fairy stuff I'm not worried about at all - I can whip out fairy-esque faces like nobody's business...haha. I always have a few more issues with boy designs. Still love to see them though!

@ Debi - I don't have a burner, but I would still love to see it!

@ Jenn - I have my BB too - and I've totally used it on the job - but I want to try out some faces before getting there Razz

@ Tash - ooh, yes. Good idea. Will play Very Happy

Heres the transformers....actually I had tat intl. makes these ones. I think sometimes once they make a stencil they may put in in their library. If you're interested you can see if its there to purchase.

This is what it looks like airbrushed (girly style Smile) but I have used my stencils with face paints too.

Can you post a like picture Debi done in face paints if it isn't too much trouble? I would like to see the difference between the two! Very Happy

This brings up a good thought. I might try and see if I can make a stencil (one time use) using my Cricut. It won't hold up long since it will only be on cardstock, but it could be interesting to try.

I don't have a pic of the transformers in face paint right now but I can do one later on...or did you just wanna see what it looked like in general in FPs? Heres a soccer ball done with a stencil and FP and of course you can see the flames are hand painted in... then the next one the yellow bolt was sponged and then hand outlined in the blue and white.
