All rectagular. What I figured out is to cut the round cakes into a perfect square and set aside. I used the rounded bits in a test cake and have the square from the middle ready for 4 perfect cakes!

I am going to try and get a few done before the sale ends.

Painted Dragon, may I ask what you are looking for as I have been thinking of expanding a bit. Thanks!

SF keeps updating their emailing list and they recently updated it hence the better website. Just go back and put your email up again. they sent one on sunday free shipping with $50 or over spent, (funny enought you mentioned it, lol).... I also think their cakes are more $$ is because they have more paint in them, i guess.....

AND NOW: I am looking for rectangular small cases to make my own blending/rainbow cakes (similar to the ones for the 50gm cakes on FPFS) and to put my paint in in general rather then the round ones. I've tried the jewelry case thingy but I hate it when my hand hits the sides and I cant pick up as much paint as I want.

SO: Your mission if you choose to accept it- PLEASE help me find them. I've gone cookoo looking online and cant seem to find them. Pretty please help me? Thanks xoxoxoxo

We ought to start a "help me find this" thread.

I sure could add a few things to it!

I got free shipping from SF last weekend (for items not found here), but haven't received the order yet. I ordered from Metina the same day and have had my order a few days already and it's ALWAYS free shipping with FPF!

That is soooo true! I ordered something from FPFS and Silly Farm on Friday. FPFS package = Tuesday arrival. Silly Farm is just sending their package out on Tuesday. Lame..... Thanks Metina for being awesome. I tell every painter I know to shop here!!!!

I think the difference is SF does have a higher volume of sales & so it takes them longer to ship. I need to always remember, when I started face painting, SF was there & an awesome help. I've learned a lot since then & buy from several stores depending my need(still mostly FPF & SF). I love both of them!

I love Silly Farm too, and I think they do a lot to advance the painting world. The shipping is slow and I have to pay for it, that's all.

The people at SF have been very responsive and easy to deal with and I love their big selection.

I was just praising Metina on going the extra mile and shipping orders super fast. I like to support her business because I benefit so much from this forum, but it's also really helpful to know when I need something quick I know where to go Very Happy

Awe shucks! I am thinking of expanding and want your feedback. I was considering Paradise, Kryolan or Betllatex Balloons. What are your thoughts?

I am looking to add more repeat purchases rather than "one time" type things. Thanks for all your feedback on what I should add.

PS In my book customers are #1 no matter what. They are you whole reason for exisiting. And although I do love SF myself for the vids, selection and that Heather is truley amazing, there really is no excuse for the shipping taking so long. If you are doing that well, hire someone.

Metina knows how much I spend here Wink It's my absolutest-favoretest place Smile The only time I buy from somewhere else is if Metina doesn't stock it or I need it like the very next day for something (which happens rarely).

I agree with you that they shouldn't let their orders run behind and they should hire someone. You are not a business if you don't have customers--customers always come first.
I emailed them a few months back asking for suggestions of items for a first time face painter--they never responded so I never bought anything from them and I don't plan to....again maybe they need to hire an extra person to respond to the email too. I probably would have bought anything and everything they suggested because in my eyes they are the professionals---instead I just bought a book from Barnes N Noble with a starter set of Wolfe paints.

haha Thanks Metina! I actually do plan on placing an order soon. I'm just trying to narrow down my choices.
I really want to learn eye designs. I think this is a good place for me to start.

This forum is so great...especially when people post pics of their awesome work stating exactly what they used to create the masterpiece. Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven --5 stars teehee

I love Paradise. Especially the odd colours.
The wear really well and they don;t itch my skin.
Also, more tattoo stencils. 3 part stencils.
Maybe a better shipping rate to Canada. It always sucks when we find a great store in the US and shipping isn;t too bad. But, those darn Customs and brokers love to dig their little fingers into our pockets.
Nothing you can do about that. Maybe have a Canadian distributor that you run,
There is a shop in my city but he charges $14.99 for a metallic Paradise pallet.
I bought the empty Paradise 8 pallet and 8 small refills for it and it cost me over $65 dollars. Yikes. In the beginning I didn;t know any better.

But, I think alot of us are really starting to get into the glitter tattoos.

Oh.....more brush choices. Maybe some good quality ones. Loew, Royal, Majestic.....etc.

No offense glitterfly, but I do discount to Canada and carry royal and majestic brushes. I will consider paradise(I secretly love it too) and other considerations.

As too the tat stencils, then you guys will want me to carry loads of glitter. I bought 30 pounds for the gel and face painting. Do you know what cracks and crevases it gets into? My husband is always compaining about being teased! LOL.

Keep bringing the suggestions, as I am planning to expand with the next month. I am all joking and of course want to carry what you want.

I noticed that you have the professional cases with foam inserts for DFX... do you happen to have them for snazaroo?? or could you get them? I'd have to completely buy a whole new set of paints to go with and I don't know if they'd fit into my case the same way as my current set up, but they look so nice.

Oh yah.....I didn't mind your shipping fees....it's the darn Customs that gets us every time. Those blood suckers. I bought a ezup tent and it cost $142 US. The Customs charged me $83 extra for brokerage fees, tax and toll. What the heck?

I had the chance to try some Paradise when I went to LaFete and I love it so that would be a great thing to add! I've been wanting to get more than the two colors I bought there. I was buying Wolfe at a local place until I found out that DFX white and black is the same as Wolfe so I'll be buying that from you from now on, Metina Smile

I'm thinking it would be very expensive for you to get into the glitter tattoo market, huh?

Going to play with the pretty new paints I received today (ordered the DFX metallic baby blue and fuschia- can't wait to make up a split cake!) Thanks for the fast shipping, Metina!

I too was looking to buy one of those flat cases with the foam insert to fit the wolfe 30g pots...I have a good amount of them now and get tired of twisting all the lids off and on before and after a gig. I'd rather have a quickie set up and break down for party gigs.
