balloon insanity!!!

so yesterday I got roped(and by roped, I forced Ryan to let me help him because I know that he wouldn't be able to finish on his own...) into helping Ryan create a HUGE balloon delivery order for a wedding. We're talking hundreds of balloons that we had to blow up and twist into flowers.


We made bouquets of flowers for cernterpieces.

We both blue up all of the blue balloons(which turned out to not be enough, and we ended up blowing up about 50 more...)

And I blue up everything else(all of the extra blue, the greens, and 1-60 blues...)

Ryan spent the whole day twisting blue flower petals, and I twisted all of them onto the stems and I twisted all of the bows.

Both of us arranged the flowers and twisted the bows around them.. and I trimmed all of the nozzles and extra pieces that were sticking out... then Ryan added the bases and made the extra few that were ordered ( caricature balloons of the bride and groom, 2 flower vases with flowers and lady bugs, and a present box balloon.)

We spent about 12 hours all together on these things.. but they looked awesome and we delivered them at 7 am this morning to very happy wedding peeps.

It was a real learning experience.. I learned that I hate 1-60 pumps! I still have blisters!

We used boxes from moving to help hold the flowers!

that's 12 BIG bags of balloons! it took 2 cars to transport all of them!

FUN!!! LOL.... I did a relatively small order of centerpieces for a birthday party with a hawaiian theme... 20 monkey in a palm tree sculptures. It always takes longer than you think it should take.

Wow! They'd be having their 1st anniversary before I was done!
I bet it looked awesome when it was done!

Wow! This really "blue" my mind! lol
