What is the difference between your outbox and sent box in email?
There is probably a very simple explanation to this, but I have no idea what it is.

yeah...I noticed that too...some messages are in the sent box...they are sent though?

The only difference I have noticed is that the things that are in my 'outbox' were messages that I wrote people that they never wrote me back. OR never received?

The stuff in the outbox has not been "read" or "opened" yet. The sent box was opened/read by the addressee.
So... if you sent a message and it is still in your outbox you can delete it and they'll never know you sent it!!

Hii Annette welll...Sentbox is the message that you sent have reached the user successfully & outbox means the message that you sent couldn't reach the owner.
When you send a private message to another member, the message immediately goes into your “Outbox”
Once the message has been received by the other party, your message will then appear in your “Sent Box”...hope it will help you..

Can we test this theory? Shannon I PM'd to you tonight about one of your blog posts, but that message and to my dismay 2 other messages (to other people) are sitting in my "Outbox"
Could you please check to see if you have a PM from me?
Thanks,
Cheryl
