So, I was just looking over all the entries again, and I notice, these really give a good indication of who is left or right handed since most of us painted ourselves. It would be interesting to see people paint the "bad" side of their faces, just once, just for fun.

I'm confused.
I can paint both sides of my face equally - I hadn't thought one side was easier.... the flower in my avatar is on my left side and the eye design is on my right. I just went for whatever side had the best light according to where I was painting.
Explains why I wasn't happy with it.
I feel a bit stupid now - I might of been making it harder on myself!

no, you may very well be slightly... or mostly... ambedextrious. I just know that a lot of painters have a dominant hand and they paint that same side of their face, because it's usually easier. Seriously, I can't paint with my left hand to save my life, and trying to paint the left side of my face with my right hand... well, it's hard!... for me anyway. Don't feel stupid, whatever works for you is what you should do! That's not stupid at all... that's smart!

LOL! Right handed & I can barely paint my own face(the whole brush hitting the mirror thing...). My left side is very difficult.

I am right handed and i have a hard time painting the left side of my face or if I am painting someone I always have a prob. with their left.

That's funny Punky, I just checked and I submitted one design on each of my eyes. I do have a definite preference for painting myself and others on the right side of the face. It has to do with wonky eyes, different prescriptions and a sigmatism in only one eye as well as being right handed.
