OK, be forgiving.. I painted on myself & I'm in bifocal days...

I used:
Wolfe Neon Rainbow
Paradise black, white, teal, dark blue
a mop, 1/2 sponge, #8 filbert, #2 round

Ok folks this ended up being a hybrid of 2 designs. It started out tribal but ended up looking kind of celestial..if you will.

I used all DFX colors white, met. silver, met. gold, met. purple, met blue
I used a #2 round, 1/8" flat, #1 round

Step 1 Outline unicorn in white

Step 2 Fill design in with met. silver, then go over it in met. gold

Step 3 Outline tribal markings in met. purple and highlight with met blue
add stars

Step 4 Add final highlights to stars and add accent stars(dots)

Step 5 Add mane

Final Result

the unicorn turned out great. how did you do the layout for the submission, is it a template? i like the layout of it for reference.

You guys are truly talented and should be proud of your abilities. Its gonna be a hard one to call. Psalm that is really outstanding.....kudos to you. Tash by the looks of it I would have to say you have come out of that downturn about your painting abilities, and are back in a big way....very very nice work

. It is not a template, it is made in InDesign and I just added the pictures I thought would show the step-by-step, and then afterwards the textframes. It never looks the same twice Wink

This is my first attempt at a unicorn. It needs some work, but at least it's recognizable!

Materials used:

DFX white
DFX pixie mini split cake
Paradise black
Paradise purple
DFX gold
Paradise brown
Snaz sparkle pink
Paradise lilac

OMG Judy if it's not my bad spelling it's my horse shoe orientation! ha ha ha I guess i was thinking of the horse shoes holding in the luck. I hope this doesn't disqualify me....
