Lump in the ta-ta's

Post by SuzySparkles on Sat Jul 03, 2010 10:45 pm

Well, My doctor found a suspicious lump in my boob. I have to have a mammogram and an ultrasound on Thursday. My general opinion is not to worry until there is something to worry about... However I am very nervous right now. Anyone else ever have experience with this? The lump is long, hard and bumpy... Doc said those are the types to worry about, if it feels like coral? hmm...

Suzy, I'll keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted.

I got to bless a lady this weekend who'd just had a breast biopsy. She wanted my palm tree/dolphin henna design because she said that's what she'd thought about during the surgery. It was so refreshing to be a reminder of good things!

I hope we can be a blessing to you, the same way!

Well... hope it all turns out to be benign! At least you don't have to wait too long... and that it gets dealt with quickly after that!

Oh Suzy! Stay strong baby girl.
I haven't had first hand experience but have had too many friends go through this. Recently a friend had three lumps removed and they were all benign - just fatty tissue that had solidified. Good luck sweetheart - all our thoughts and good energy is with you.

Gosh you are so young. Let us all know and let this be a lesson to stay on top of "our yearlies". I myself am a year behind and don't want to even go.

Without our health, we are nothing!

Humour is the best medicine! It's important to just do what you can and remember to take tylenol before the mammograms ladies...I wonder how soon they'd invent a kinder machine if men had to have their 'privates' through one of those cold squishing vices?

I had to go through something like that recently but it was just a little extra scar tissue from my reduction.

Hugs and good vibes from the great northwest!

All is good... I mean I guess. I am kind of confused... They felt the lump and then did the mammogram and nothing came up on the mammogram... so i dont really know what that means. Will try to talk to my doctor about it and find out more.

"A merry heart doeth good like medicine" IDK where I found that, but it worked for a few speeches back in my debate team days, and as I found out last night in my pharmacology class, a positive attitude can produce the same positive effects as an actual medicine! It's been proven by scientists! So just hang in there and all of our positive energy combined will help to get you through this! Stay strong!

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
I like to Google phrases I see/hear so I can attribute them. That's a great one!
