Promotional flyers?

Post by Tash on Wed Jul 07, 2010 10:27 pm

Hi peeps,
I was wondering if anyone has made promotional flyers for their business?
I wanted to make some up professionally, I had made some up at home and laminated them and stuck them up in parks which worked well for a while, but I would like some professional looking ones to put in the shop windows and leave on the counter of my local shops.
I was wondering - how many pictures - what size - how much info - sort of stuff. If anyone has done this and is happy with their result and wouldn't mind sharing a pic or just the info it would really help.
I have tried making one, but I am soooooooo freaking indecisive, the very next day I want to change nearly everything about it. And OBVIOUSLY getting to the point succinctly is NOT one of my talents.
Any help would be appreciated as always.

I like using the Vista Print postcards. They're big enough to fit pics, get attention, but not so big to take up too much room on community bulletin boards. They often have free promos. They're also great for carrying in your purse & giving out at a moments notice & don't get as easily lost in the clutter like business cards.

I just used publisher at my job Smile. Mine had a border of stars in diff sizes with my logo in the middle, my info and a whole bunch of pictures. My info was also in detachable slips for them to tear off (i cut them out so all they had to do was pull and the tiny corner that was still attached came off easily)
