FWW is a cream... a water-based cream make-up. It is really nice, but... seeing as it is a wet make-up I can't use it without wasting more than I would use due to our regulations.

I have used it, worn it and it is great. It is THE most comfortable face paint to actually wear. I kept forgetting I was wearing it as it stays pliable and doesn't dry out like the cake make-up/paint does.

This was done completely with FWW (they were the contest sponsor and provided all the paints used in the contest!)

And the green FWW sponges ARE excellent. They are the same size and shape and general texture as tack sponges, just are green and SOFTER to the touch and more expensive.

I can try to see if I can carry those, but with no plans to carry the make-up anytime soon, it maybe hard.

Jodi is a reputable retailer. You can buy with confidence.

I have cut all my own sponges from scrap (AU$10 a bag so big it has to be pushed into the car) Very Happy
1. Get a thick guage copper wire and using pliers twist it around your required size form. I use the hole saws from a drill set, about 3in and 2in diameter. Leave a nice long handle on it to hold.
2. I close all but the kitchen window, turn on the air con. full speed and turn the entire house into a fume box. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREATH THE FUMES!! I stand in front of the window over the sink to burn the foam. Or do this outside with a breeze and stand upwind!
3. Heat your wire circle over a burner (my gas stove is perfect) then while red hot push into the foam. either cut half circles on a straight edge or simply cut your circles in half with scissors when done.

I've lost count of the number I get out of that AU$10 bag. When the sponges get too gruby I just toss them out.

Sounds like I have too much time on my hands LOL Laughing

You are VERY right about the fumes. Poly Foams contain Isosianate gas which is REALLY bad stuff, never deteriorates and has no odor. It stays trapped in the cels of the foam until you cut it, and if you are heat cutting there are other fumes from the melting foam.

Just tried to use my scrollsaw and WOW! cuts perfectly. No more heat cutting needed. Cut slowly and the blade is so fast you get a nice clean edge. Cuts any shape, even cut a frog shaped brush holder!
