Crowns
I just booked a last minute gig for a summer camp - the theme this week is Princes and Princesses. (This is a repeat customer...she'd gotten a friend to do their Carnival theme last week, though - and she said they were all disappointed and said that was why they needed me to come in - because I'm good at "wow"! Score! Haha.)
At any rate, they want only themed offerings. Princess crowns are no problem. Do any of you have good PRINCE crowns, though? Or anything that would fit in with the royal, fairytale kind of theme? She mentioned unicorns - again, no problem. I think I've got a knight helmet design somewhere, that I'm not crazy about - anyone have one of those?!
Thanks!

Re: Crowns
Maybe a coat of arms style design for the cheek or arm?
If there's a mascot or spirit colors for the summer camp you could incorporate those into a design. Just something like a one- or two-tone shield with the silhouette of a unicorn, a lion, a cross, or a Fleur de Lis.

Re: Crowns
Thanks Suzi!
I've emailed her to ask about dragons and non-tiara princesses (ie I tend to label every forehead design _____ Princess...lol), so hope she's cool w that.
A shield is a good idea! Thanks!

Re: Crowns
Hi! This is my first post here, haven't even introduced myself yet... but I happened to be looking at this post just yesterday and there are a couple of great boy crowns on it (by Heather Timmons):

I really like the knight one, I thought of it immediately when I read your post.

Re: Crowns
Thanks guys! Those are great (and welcome, Hazel!). I do have a (different) knight helmet design somewhere....now to find it/get painting!
Re: Crowns
Hi,
This is not mine but there is a pic of a king design here -
http://www.snazaroo.us/09/9books.htm
I don't have a picture but I did a Gladiator style helmet for a boy, with the face/mouth guard thingy in silver and bronze and he loved it.
I think a full face dragon would go down well too as no Princess is a princess without a Dragon to save her from.
Are you expecting a lot of boys at a princess party?

Awesome! I wish I had some boys in the neighbourhood...well, better find myself a man and start making models myself...lol. Or I'll wait a bit
It's a Summer Day Camp, and the theme this week is Princes and Princesses. She hasn't replied yet to my email - will likely give her a call tomorrow then.
She was specific in saying she wanted only themed offerings - no Spidey or balloon swords etc - which is ok. I don't really mind making up new designs, since this will be the 3rd time she's hired me since her daughter's bday in March, and she owns this preschool, which is great. And she did apologize for the 2 days notice, lol...
