Review & Photos; Woodbridge, Va Jam Sunday August 1st @ Uno's 5-9pm!

You are invited to the Woodbridge Jam at Uno Chicago Grill restaurant. Off l-95 towards Manassas on Prince William Parkway, Uno is on the right corner of 4th stoplight at Worth Ave.

Face Painters are welcome to try out & learn new designs, sharpen techniques, make new friends, share interesting stories of your experiences and business tips at the Jam. We have so much fun sharing the latest tips, trix & creativity in great company!

Customer's children will be painted the design of YOUR choice, 6-8pm! Everyone is encouraged to paint but if you don't want to paint, be a model for those that do. Come early as Uno's fabulous food is FREE for actively participating Face Painters for the guests. www.unos.com

You never know what can become of an original design that began on a mannequin. I'm honored that my Soaring Eagle step-by-step is featured in the August issue of AFP magazine! www.AmericanFacePainter.com I will demo the Soaring Eagle & Pirate Nose Dancer designs before the children get painted at the Jam. The Eagle is a great patriotic & Washington Nationals design that got quicker with Arla's star stencil that became available after the design was painted.

I've found that old habits can be nonproductive at the Jam. I'm so used to saying "what do you want to be" to the children that I had to print out a list of designs I want to try out & photograph at the Jam so I can glance at the list & say "do you want to be a .... or a ....?"

Sharon was practicing some of her original designs getting ready for a working cruise so to everyones delight, she brought them and made more!

Sharon & Leandra enjoyed the fantastic Unos seasonal lobster sliders before the Jam and she gave the manager her lobster sculpture in appreciation

So many choices, they were quickly snapped up by Unos patrons & staff.

Delighted with Leandra's mask, she made extended use of the 'forever' mirror!

When I overheard him telling his mom that he wanted a "little something military" I demoed my original Soaring Eagle design featured in the August issue of American Face Painters magazine on him www.AmericanFacePainter.com

She said she liked roses & little did she know what fun I could have down her arm. She was delighted when I painted the bright green vine with leaves and got ready to get up, "wait, there's more" I said! Much to my surprise, I found out metalic gold baby's breath looks great!

We had a marvelous time sharing tips & trix while delighting Unos guests as we tried out new designs.

The Woodbridge Jam is usually held on the 1st Sunday of the Month but due to Labor Day Weekend falling on first Sunday and prior commitments, September's Jam will be on the 19th.

My daughter is loving the lobster & killer whale! We need to find a place for her to balloon jam! Maybe I'll try to extend my face painting jam to include twisting....

I think it's fun having the balloonists to the Jam when space allows and I sure could use help learning more twisting techniques!
