Re: favorite metallix paint?
I have heard a lot of bad things about the Paradise metallics, but I have all the browns and golds as well as the, blue, green and silver and have been very pleased with them. You have to use them at a thicker consistency than you would use a lot of the other paints, but they are the cheapest and when you use them right, the color is good too. But other than those, you can never go wrong with wolfe and DFX metallics. But like I said, I'm very pleased with my paradise.

I love my Paradise metallics and I am looking forward to getting the Hot Rod Green.
I have seen it so many times and thought "What a gorgeous color!" BUT Clayton has warned me to use it sparingly because it stains.
I also LOVE Mehron (who makes Paradise) tube paints in silver, bronze and gold. The coverage is supreme, but you have to set them because they're creme paints.

I love Wolfe & DFX metallics. They are easy to work w/, & give great coverage. DFX baby blue is to die for! I have ordered some Paradise Metallic; you can't beat the price(Yes, Whitney, I've finally gone & done it... I was putting in a balloon order & had to up it for the sake of shipping).

I love the DFX metallic green #2500. Absolutely a gorgeous jewel tone!
I also like the Snaz sparkle orange, it has a nice sheen to it and combined beautifully with the DFX metallic gold on a butterfly design I was trying out (the step-by-step that Ashley put up - thanks Ashley!!).

Yeah, it sounds like it should be glittery but it's not. It's metallic-y, sort of pearlescent - I would call it metallic myself but they don't. The orange is the only sparkle one I have, I think. They do have a line of metallic ones though - the electric blue is awesome. That's another one I would recommend.
Re: favorite metallix paint?
why doesn't any company have metallic pink in their metallix palettes??!!
Re: favorite metallix paint?
Inferenze is not that great of coverage. If you are ok with the snaz sparkle coverage, then you should be ok with the inferenze coverage. I have the purple and I can't do line work with it hardly at all, but it gives a beautiful sparkle if you are comfortable with a more transparent coverage. You can kinda see the transparency in this photo, but it really doesn't show just how transparent it is.

I don't have the orange, but the light blue, light green and white are what I would call shimmery, not metallic. The dark blue is more on the metallic side, but not anywhere near Paradise metallics.
My camera bites but here is Mehron creme silver, gold and bronze, Snaz Sparkle colors: Pink, White, Light Green, Light Blue and Dark Blue. With the flash, the Snaz are actually giving off more glow than how they appear in real life.

Re: favorite metallix paint?
Man my snaz sparkles never give me that good of coverage. Maybe I should try them out with a brush more often as oppose to the sponge work I usually use them for.

Absolutely you have to lay it on thick with a brush for good coverage. I do like to sponge it on as a base for a sheer Pixie-like effect though.

Yeah, that's all I have ever used them for is the pixie effect. I'm defiantly going to try the brush.
