hey, we have the same light weight directors chair. I like the signage clipped behind it. I think i will clip my menu board onto the back of the chair. i love my fat maxx too.

I clip postcard size handouts to the back of my chair w/ a take one sign. Works great!
Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
Yeah.. the sign is a great idea. I can use my car magnet!
Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
my tool box is like suzy's tall enough for me to sit and work out of with paints on a table..or stand with my paints on top of my case i velcro my paints to the top of my lid. my directors chair has a small table attached to the side i put my rainbow cakes and glitter there in a tray with velcro strips to hold it down....
Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
Ok fax maxxers, do you guys find yourselves bending a lot for your paints? I couldn't get the thing open (guess I should go sober next time)
Long story, celebrating birthday & for some reason we get inspired and go to the hardware store!
Back to what I was really talking about,
I'm 5'4" and am pretty close to my current work station. I'm concerned about having to constantly reach down (I paint standing). Is the fat maxx elevated?

Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
I'm 5'3" & don't have trouble bending. It's at the same hight as the table I used to use.
Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
Ideally, the table you work from should be three inches below where your elbow bends.
Re: Bought a new FatMax... love it, but....
Angie, that's good to know... well, the fatmax is about a foot from where my elbow bends
I don't just stand next to it. I usually walk around it & try to move a lot, so only if I have a mega long gig do I have any real issues w/ a soar back. However, my back is the one area of my body that doesn't have issues. My feet are what I have to protect the most. No heals for this gal anymore
