Newbie here!
Hello!
I'm Flory and I'm a newbie to the site - found it while I was searching for more face paints. I started painting faces about four years ago when my aunt needed help at a local festival - she wanted to add something for the kids. We started off with those little kits from Michael's with the plastic brushes. When I made a little boy cry that year because the Spiderman he requested did not look like Spiderman, I was inspired to get better!
I purchased my first Paradise palettes (basic and pastel) for the following year's festival and I've been hooked ever since. I think I've perfected Spiderman! LOL... I'm still practicing but I take my stuff to all the parties I'm invited to and will paint as many faces as I can. I'm doing the festival again this weekend (4th year in a row) and we did a different festival last year.
I've spent over $250 in supplies (and have placed 2 orders since I found this site!) but have not yet turned it into a business - just doing it for fun for now.
If I get better, I may consider a side gig - your posts inspire me to keep practicing!
