Experiences with TAG

Post by Ellen Rijzinga on 8/24/2010, 5:11 pm

Does anyone use TAG schmink from Australia... I bought some beautiful red and the black which I personally found not as good as the DFX but better then Grimas. Before buying more I would like to hear from other users....

thnx

In my opinion the red and black are almost identical to the DFX. Now, the white isn't *quite* as good, though very close. This is just my perception - it may not actually be true, LOL!

If you search Metina's recent posts you will find one explaining why DFX/TAG are very similar....

I use TAG & love it. I have every pearl colour in their range & white, brown, lime green, Berry wine. I've been very happy with the results. Although the lime green, pearl green do stain a bit. I haven't used the red or black though. I do love the vibrancy of the pearl colours & the way they shimmer.

I've just recently tried TAG and I wasn't a big fan of it. It's not as great as Wolfe, but compares to DFX sorta. Their white isn't the best...if it's your first paint you use, I don't think you'll be dissapointed too much...but if you've used Wolfe before tag, you may be a little let down. JMO. Give it a try and if ya don't like it, swap it out in the swap shop.

I have the pearl white and pearl black, and LOVE them both. I covered almost my whole bald head in the pearl black and it washed right off. I couldn't believe it.
