Hello from a Minnesota noob

I just found this forum last weekend. I got started in face painting while in the process of trying to start up an airbrush (and airbrush + freehand) tattoo business. When my wife saw some of the freehand tattoos I had done on my kid & some of her friends, she volunteered me to do the makeup for a special-needs childrens theater group that my daughter belongs to. I protested that I wasn't a theater makeup artist but they just needed some ultra-simple faces suggesting characters (rather than full makeup) so I agreed. Anyway I had a BLAST doing it & have been doodling with pen & brush (mostly on my arm) for the last month, staying up till all hours watching Silly Farm's videos, and driving my browser into the ground with dozens of face painting/body art web pages.

This looks like a fantastically talented & creative group here and I'm looking forward to diving in and learning as much as I can from you all. Hopefully I'll get to the stage where I can actually contribute something before too long.
