now I'm convinced to go try this..... that back of the hand picture looks exactly like when I've had airbrush paint diluted down too much and brushed it on - maybe more pigment is needed? If you take a smaller container and add more pigment till it works you'd have a better sense of how much pigment was really needed to make it look "right"... I was just playing with a batch tonight that came out like that - till I realized the pigment was in a solid ball in the middle of the bottle and was coming out wrong because it wasn't mixed right.

Ha Ha Ha Suzy.... you are a hoot. You are so gracious to try it out for us. I love experimenting but I think I'll stick with my paradise and dfx. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when you mixed all that up. Hugs Helen

Suzy!!!! Did you get rid of the stuff for the first one???
Based on my kitchen background..u should add more corn starch to thicken that up...and we should bake it!!! LOL j/k . More corn starch might help the consistency.
The Cold cream stuff, looks all greasy and might not be good to have that for a long period of time, imagine all the dust and dirt u might be sticking on ur face..Yuck! lol!

All of the corn startch sunk to the bottom and now it is a hard disgusting mess lol... I am throwing everything out Smile

It was just fun... The kids had fun also they ended up making a corn starch/red vinegar lava mess also... My fiance just offered the words.... "I am not cleaning that sh1t up" HAHA!!! I am not sure why I even tried it lol, I don't have an air brush gun. Oh well, I had a great night

Sounds fun, but...

1) Food is not always safe on skin and as something not tested/ passed by cosmetic standards I would not be using that even if I did know exactly what the ingredients were. Tings ca and do react with each other. Also most 'proper' paint brands have ant0-bacterial properties, etc.

2) I'm an ex-biology teacher and we used to use food dyes to stain the tails of watervoles (etc) we were studying. Because most food colourings stained the animals (AND our hands) for up to a week! After a survey day I'd look like I had the hands of a mass murdered for at least the next 3...

3) Not liking the results much!

I really don't like ehow etc, they have some insanely stupid ideas. Not saying this is one, but they definitely don't check/ edit who puts stuff up on it...
