Doing a baby belly....theme is "A star is born".....Any Ideas???

I am a little stumped for a concept for this one. The theme from the Baby shower is a star is born. Trying to come up with ideas without being too literal to the theme ( i.e. baby done inside of a star) One idea I came up with...but now I am thinking may be a bit on the "cheesy" side, was a broadway stage with the curtains partially drawn with the baby name in neon lights above it, a spot light centerstage in the shape of a star with a baby in a tophat. Cheesy right???

Any help would be appreciated.

What about a dark sky with a shooting star maybe with a sparkly rainbow tail?

Maybe a dark window sillouette and a night sky with lots of little stars and one bright shinning one?
hmmmm... good luck coming up with something I don't envy you.
I have to do one next week - i'm thinking a wolf theme because it's a little boy and she is thinking of naming him wolf.
Make sure you take piccies of what you end up doing.

I had a similar theme at my shower and my invites and decorations were a star wearing a diaper. It was all super cute. Maybe this will help.

You know the stars on dressing room doors? Maybe a star with baby's name on it. Maybe paint the door cracked open with a baby peeking out. Sort of, "10 minutes till curtain" or "I'm ready for my close-up" or "It's show-time!... lol

Cheesy or not, I actually love the whole Broadway idea - but that's the actor in me talking, haha. Jazz hands!

Come up w/ several designs on paper(called thumbnails in graphic arts) & present them to the client. They don't have to be perfect, just conceptual ideas. Do a few Broadway, a few shooting star styles, etc(whatever you think of). Then the client gets to pick which one fits best. Also talk w/ her & ask if she can describe what she's thinking of when she says "A Star is Born".

You guys are the best......Thank you so much for your suggestions. I feel a lil better knowing that the "broadway" idea isn't as far out in left field than I originally thought. I do love the whole stage door curtain call idea too.

I will sketch out some things Sat evening after my gig. and present them to Katrina (the mom to be)after worship service on Sunday. I will keep you posted as to what she decides.

If anyone else has a thought/suggestion.........all ideas are welcome.

Well I spoke with Katrina today and bounced some ideas off of her. She actually liked the "Broadway" idea as well as the stage door/curtain call idea.

She is actually due 10/25 so I do have a little time to try and come up with something really nice. At least I have a some sort of direction to go in.

What about someting like this?
