Face Painting Ideas for All Adult/Blacklight Face Painting?

Well, that DFX blue showed up great on Krystal... don't know why they discontinued it. I have it in my DFX Euro neon cake though. Good to know that the purple and red from Kryolan look nice!

Just so ya'll know, party city has hand held battery powered black lights for about $10, and Walmart has the big plug in bars for about $12. I would recommend looking into them before spending a lot more at Spencers.

So just did the event. First of all she decided to try to order the paints last minute (the day before) and big surprise, wasn't going to happen. So she went to party city and bought these cheap blacklight crayons/glow in the dark face gel, none of which worked. So I ended up painting boobs and thighs and chests. I went to get the money around the main "lounge" and it turns out it was some kind of strip club...very interesting...I'm dissapointed. Oh well, guess I need to buy some uv-reactive paint of my own and send out postcards to local clubs...

Thanks, no more strip clubs for me. The people were kind of scary. No one tipped other than a woman who wanted a man's .... with glitter painted on her thigh, it came out pretty realistic and funny. lol...

Wow... sorry about the crappy experience, but I'm totally inspired to try this stuff out! (not the strip club, the paint!) I think I'll get that Krylon pallet the next time I place an order to play with it... I think it would be a fun thing to offer (to the right people of course!)

I'm really looking forward to painting at this stag and doe.... apparently, when my husband mentioned it to the manager he was booking the party with, he thought it was a really cool idea. .... I HAVE emailed this place before to offer my services as an add on to their parties and never got a response, but maybe the wrong person opened the email that day. Seeing it in person might convince someone there.

I'm doing that one for free as it is a friend and it is my gift to them (my husband is best man and planning the event). Apparently my hair colour is black light reactive, so I'm planning to paint myself as a pink tiger for the event with my glowing pink hair... I'm hoping it will be a cool effect.

I do a LT of UV in the uK & HK.
1) dump UV white, none of the brands ever look great. Also its v unusual for a club to have strong enough blacklight (apart from in flashes) for UV white or most of the colours to look as good as it does in some of the pics people posted on here.
2) make UV rainbow; its fast and easy and looks good - use black on top for designs
3) stick to eyes stuf, its a club, they'll be too drunk for full faces AND sweating/ kissing each other so do as much eye type stuff as possible - tribals, swirlies, butterflies, etc.
4) as said yellow, green, pink, orange all fab in all brands; blue/ purple NOT. Kryolan UV is brighter than Wolfe/ DFX but is sort of chalkier and not much good for linework. If you only get 1 brand I'd stick to wolfe. DFX as it does both if a little less bright.

is my usual UV kit (along with kit for self paints the promoters got me to buy!), most of the bigger pots are Kryolan rest is DFX. And this was in a brighter-than-average UV light. Yes thats a cake of UV white at the front...useless! Pus theres a pot of liquid fardel UV not even glowing at all...

5) Don't bother with blending or any other colours - just take UV and black. Subtle blends won't show up and aren't easy with UV which is not the same consistancy as normal paints. Plus you want the smallest kit poss to avoid it being grabbed/ knocked over/ spilt on etc...

6) Wear a headtorch; at worst it makes clients have to close your eyes but at least you can see what you're doing!
