I think the starblend would "set" the base and help the face last longer...and if they aren't sweating it should last for the better part of the day.
do you have a barrier spray? I might try using that before laying your base down.

I did a couple of KISS faces a couple of months ago, I forgot my camera of course, but they sent me these pics:

I used a Snaz base for good coverage and Starblend white over it. DFX Black and Snaz Red. They had these faces on for a few hours at this point and it was HOT in this room!
