Thank you so much everyone! I've compiled the list as well as a few of my own from a book I found in the library, not a great one, but a book nontheless. I've sent it to my prof and I now have to await his ruling. See, we had to choose 3 possible topics and find preliminary sources before he would approve a paper topic for any of us. The other two topics I chose were the Beatles (the rise to and fall from fame) and Facebook (the cultural phenomenon and how it's affected us)... I have to admit I have a LOT more hard info on the beatles than either facebook or face painting combined. I really don't like his system to setting this paper up... I mean, I know he doesn't want to keep getting a million papers on abortion and the death penalty and stuff, but really? this seems a bit excessive to give us less than one week for gathering enough info to write 3 papers? Sheesh! Especially seeing as how my prof is WAY old school and wants most of our stuff to be out of books and stuff, He's limiting us to no more than 4 internet sources. I heard that and I was like "WHA-?!"

I will let you all know what the ruling is, I really hope he lets me do it on face painting, it's so new and I bet its NEVER been done before, at least not around here.
