Awww! Those are my zebras! cheers And holy cow, that giraffe is amazing!

I've got a rhino, giraffe, zebra, giraffe mask, zebra mask, and some other stuff in my website gallery as well, if anyone still needs some reference material.

Just wanted to reiterate that those are not mine, they came from my reference/inspiration folder. I have worked at a zoo and done most of those designs, but those specific photos are not by me......

Dug through my stuff and found what I did have photographed. Now the following are by me, so confusing lol.

Is it crazy that I have never tried a creature painting that has one eye in it like the one you posted Linda? I am so afraid of not getting the eye placement right but they are such cute designs, and there are so many to choose from. Maybe that will be my challenge for myself this week??? We shall see. cyclops

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Very Happy
The eye's were not the problem... Finding the right line-up w/ the mouth was what took me some time to figure out.

Shannon, I like 'em! Mine ended up looking furry w/ big teeth(but the kids & teacher liked them, so it was good). I'm hoping they send me some pics since I was too busy painting to take photos.

Bringing back this thread just to say thanks. I have a gig coming up at the zoo and I needed to check out some animal faces. Always know I can count on this place to give me some reference material! It's practice time.
