Way to go!!! (*Envious!*)
You must be in the States then. They only have a Stanley version here of that style, and it isn't really comparable.

Congratulations! And great deal!!!

I'm still hunting for my perfect case... I'm using a small Stanley toolbox, but it's not nearly big enough for my kit!

So envious I looked it up online again. It seems that the store, Menards, has cornered the market and they are the only place that sells them.
At least they are selling them online now (last time I checked they weren't). So for anyone within the US, they will ship to you. But I live in Canada.
My BIL has a US PO Box he kindly lets me use for orders, but sadly Menards states on their website that they will not ship to PO Boxes, only residential US addresses. Mad
Online shopping should be more satisfying than that.

Suzie, Where do you get the boxes you use to put all your paint in? Are the compartments fixed, or do the sides move? I either want to go all suare tag (too much dough) or am considering doing this. I am so sick of the rounds! I may go look at this box too, I have a fat max, but my daughter wants her own for the airbrush and glitter tats, so I may give her mine and switch, I really want drawers!

Did you look at Jess's new FatMax version? It is very similar to this, with pull-out drawers. I can't find it available online in Canada or the US (just UK so far), but it may be in stores, or coming soon.

This Plano one is nice and tall though, to work from standing up. I'm not sure how tall the 'newer' FatMax is. But since I can't get to the Menards/Plano one, I may have to buy a FatMax.

I have not seen that one either in the US...may have to go compare. Sigh, I think it is a never ending search for perfection...it is kind of fun, but not fun, but fun. Smile Crying or Very sad Smile

I have both units..the one from menards is taller and lighter. I love both of them..but the fat max is much more sturdy..and you can use it as a table and work out of it..

the one from menards i used a table on one side and the case on the other side when I needed extra stuff that wasn't on the table...both great cases...

So Barb, can you fit more stuff in the FM?
Is the Plano one from Menards not able to be worked out of? Or used as a table also? It seems the right height not to stoop over so much (I'm 5'6) when you're standing. Also, I like that it doesn't take up as much space when open.
I see Jess's new style of FM is similar to the Plano/Menards case but I don't know the measurements or weight or durability.

It's nice that you have both, to compare. I'm surprised that you like the FM better, being that it's heavier and takes up more space. But I guess if you can't work out of it (Menards)...
Though, I think Suzy uses hers as a table.

Thanks for input! I wish I could compare them side-by-side.
