I went to Michaels and got a 3 different types of brushes, from 3 different brands (don't remember what brand). They were only $3 each, and I had a coupon. Round, flat, and fine. One set for black, one for colors and one for white.

Nope. Never had any issues with that. They don't soak in it, just get saturated and set out to dry.

The alcohol is a bit harsh on the sables after awhile as the hair gets dried out - I do have to replace my favourites every 6 months to a year, but they are used a lot. It is just a business expense to buy replacement brushes and expected.

I have more paint pealing problems - but nail polish fixes that.
