Celebrity kids facepainting
Came across this site today :http://www.sponkit.com/david-arquette-took-his-daughter-for-face-painting/
David Arquette's daughter was face painted as a cat. Now, it might be just a crappy picture, but it just looks like a daughter of a Holliwood star should be able to get her face painted better.
I'm sucha terrible busybody gossip sometimes...

Just some guy who's been in a bunch of movies. I think he is/was married to the girl from FRiends.

Here's a better pic:

When I go to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch website, it says this: "Mr. Bones face painting and painted tattoos range from $5 for a simple face to $15 for full face and tattoo and take just a few minutes with our groovy make up artists."
I wonder if that is considered a $5 face or a $15 face? I wouldn't consider it much more than a simple design, myself, and certainly not a full face.
I have no idea who David Arquette is either, except that he was married to Courtney Cox from Friends.
P.S. I edited to include the picture and, yes, I did edit my comment about the face design. I don't think my comment was nasty or anything but in retrospect it seemed a little harsh.

Re: Celebrity kids facepainting
I have seen several celebrity kids face painting pictures from that pumpkin patch. I ran across this one of Usher & his boys last week.

Charly sheen's little one. I think more could have been done with that butterfly.

lol....That one was in US Weekly a while back. I sent it to my mom & said I think I could do better.
I admit when I saw the Usher one, I had a twinge of jealousy. Just because my boyfriend used to work at a restaurant in Buckhead that he used to frequent....he said Usher was an excellent tipper. *sigh*
Re: Celebrity kids facepainting
Aw man. I try not to be too hard on less-than-skilled facepainters. (We all started somewhere right?) But it is a shame for less-than-good designs to get such wide-spread attention. I actually thought the first cat looked okay. That Charlie Sheen one though...
Oh well, it just makes skilled artists look all the better in comparison, eh?

Re: Celebrity kids facepainting
Did anyone see the face painting in the movie "Life as We Know It"?
It was pretty dismal, and you're right... the expectations of face painting are pretty low in the general public.

More pics from the Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood today....I admit this one made me jealous. Only because No Doubt has been one of my favorite bands since I was 16, and I'd love to be able to say I painted Gwen Stefani's adorable boys *double sigh*

Re: Celebrity kids facepainting
It is good for us once people see what we can do, but not when the general public looks down on face painting & won't let their kids get painted. Every week I hear things like, "I can't, it breaks out my skin." They probably had cheap face paints or craft paints & just don't know the difference(not saying cheap paints were used in these photos as it all looks like real face paints).
Also, people don't want to pay for face painting because they think of it as cheap & cheesy.
