New additions to the behemoth...

Post by Sam I Am on Mon Nov 08, 2010 2:18 am

So, after swallowing a bit of pride and going into every cut price hairdresser in my area, I got a practice head. Her name is Sophie because some apprentice shaved the top of her head like a monk, all you Aussies will get it... Tee hee, Sophie Monk! She is lacking in the humongous lips department though.

I also grabbed two three packs of tennis balls, not for the balls but for the containers. The snaz guy (cant remember his name) uses them to transport his brushes, so for $4 I thought I'd give it a go and it works brilliantly, you just poke a couple of holes in the top for ventilation and Bobs your uncle....

So $4 and a bit of scabbing latter and my kit is almost (as if) complete.

Great find! Enjoy your practice head, and what a good idea with the tennis ball container. That's the perfect size and length for brushes. Smile

I just love the "Bobs your Uncle" saying. Smile And that is a great idea.

I'll have to remember that! I ended up getting a canvas wrap for mine - but it was half price at Michaels so was happy with what I spent. I look forward to the day I can claim my kit is - err - "done" - LOL!

My kit will never be done, its a Pandora's box in reverse. I was out yesterday and saw these really cute acrylic milkshake glasses for $3 each and they now live in my kit, I'm going to put my brushes in them as there just in a plastic container at the moment cos' the dish drainer idea didn't work, its to unstable on Bessie Behemoth. She's a cruel mistress Twisted Evil
