Roomies for CT Convention...

Hey guys,
I'm looking for two more roomies for the CT Convention. Right now I'm booked for a two-double room, but I'm contemplating a larger room if there's a lot of interest.

I do have stipulations though:
1. You must be tidy... No undies on the shower rods PLEASE!
2. Hygiene must be an important part of your daily routine because there may be bed sharing involved.
3. You must have a sense of humor...the more twisted the better.
4. You must be flexible with the bedtime ritual...I say this because it would be a real drag to have one person in the room miserable becasue they habitually miss their 9pm bedtime every night of convention. You must be tolerant of giggles in the darkness and constant joking after lights out. You'll get an abs workout from all of the laughing, that I can promise.

You are wayyyyyy funny about that 9pm bedtime. What is this convention? Conn. is not to far a trip for me (2-3 hrs) so I could consider that as well. On the outside chance I could not get a sitter depending on the dates....would you be okay with Angel being there???

The rooms are $78.40 per night (with tax) and I'm coming in on the 11th or 12th depending on whether I get a couple more roomies, so divided by 4 that's just under $20/night per person...a little more if I change my booking to a suite.

When is this con & where in CT? I'm still trying to decide on which one & if we'll have the funds to send me.

If its over the weekend I may be able to join.

The convention runs from January 12th (Wednesday) until the 17th (Monday) with the pre and post classes falling on the 12th and 17th.

I've filled my room as of this moment but I still hope to see everyone there! Maybe I can work with Metina on creating some FPF buttons for our forum family so that we can readily identify each other?

Can't do that one. We have the big Youth American Grand Prix(basically the Olympics of ballet) & will be in Columbia, SC.

Aw man. All this talk of the convention has me really wanting to go! I know for a fact that conventions assist in expidentially improving skill sets and expanding your portfolio and am so green with envy for everyone!!! Have fun!

I'm going to be there on Thursday for sure. I might stay longer if I can talk my husband into it. Where should we meet up?

Going to a convention, as a newbie, really boosts your confidence. You learn so much from the experience of others, as well as getting to see what a great group of people these painters are!
Don't be content sitting on the edge...jump right in!
