Invitation Inserts

Post by Jessica Hicklin on Thu Feb 19, 2009 5:41 pm

I just created a small flyer (4 per page) that my clients can download from my site (or you can email) and mail them with their invitations....

This is pretty much the actual size...so they'll fit in any size invitation.

I got this idea off of a website and wanted to share. Very Happy

Yeah, a very good idea. I've not bothered before but now that I can create PDFs I think I might do that too! Thanks for bringing it up Jessica!

It's great because it doesn't cost you anything! AND the parent getting the invite might put it on their fridge or possibly pass it on to someone else! alien You could maybe add some sort of coupon on the back too.

To go one step further you could turn the flyer into the actual invitation. Add in the lines for the details and then they don't have to buy an invitation which saves them money.

You could also do a larger one for events that has the date and time spaces at the bottom for event organizers.

So I've finally gotten around to stealing Jessica's idea (has anyone heard from her, btw? She hasn't been around!), and while I want to replace a couple of pix (I desperately need to steal some boys to paint), that can be done easily enough - what's important is that (I think) it's ready to be used!

I just did it as an insert instead of the actual invitation this time - that can come into play in the future Smile

They'll fit 4 to a page, so this is a bit bigger than actual size, haha.

Thoughts?

I have invitations that parents can download from my website... it's a one page thing that they fold into quarters. I put a picture of myself on the front of the card of course and my website is listed inside if they want to see more pictures.
