I don't have any split cakes either, but hopefully I can try them out soon!! my local store doesn't sell them so I'll have to order online.

Metina sells it in her shop you should go to the Face Paint forum shop & check it out.

It's an Australian paint similar to DFX & Wolfe. Best of all I love the vibrancy of the colours.

i just got the black and red tag.. i like the tag red better than dfx it is more red and dfx seams to be on the orange side...but I still think dfx and wolfe are better for line work

Love the dragon pic! I'm still pretty new and thanks to advice read on this forum have been very restrained about buying too much too soon - that said my go to paint at the moment is a Snazaroo Sparkle rainbow cake made by Amy Grigg. It is soo quick and easy to use for butterflies, bases etc. I have a small tag neon and have made a few other splits for roses but at the moment its all about the sparkle rainbow!

Thanks for all your comments, all three faces are based on youtube tutorials, can't take any credit unfortunately! I love the tag paints too, and DFX but the dark colours totally stain the kids faces though! affraid

Ok I know I may cause an uproar but I'm going to buying a rainbow cake and I'm not sure if I should get DFX or Tag. Also standard or neon? I love the rectangular shape and for my pictures I'm hoping to get some bolder looking colors. Any suggestions from those who have tried both? Thanks guys on behalf of all of us who are still working this all out:)

Hi sheilaj, I have a dfx neon rainbow and love it! I can use a sponge and a brush with it. I heard the metallix one is beautiful too.

I have a few small tag splits and really like them. Have not seen a tag rainbow cake though but I am pretty sure is comparable to dfx.

Thanks Maggie, I think I'll start with the DFX and at some point try the Tag. I'm sure it comes down to personal preference, but I always appreciate the input:) BTW the way, I love that Elmo face. It's so bright, beautiful and clear... Oh and FUN too!

BTW I think I read somewhere on the board dfx, wolfe and tag are made by the same company now. I own tag paints are they are great too.
