Just before you hit upload there is a pull down with the pixal size... like 800dpi for forums etc... you need to choose 600 or so.
Your butterfly is lovely but very hard to see.
There is a few threads here about people having trouble with butterflies.
If you use the search in the top right hand corner you should come up with a lot.... there was also a holiday butterfly challenge in the monthly challenge section.
Have a look around... if you can't find them I will come back and post links for you.

Your blending and teardrops look good. I'm thinking you may want to try mixing and conditioning your black and white paint a bit more for linework. It looks a teensy bit washed out, which usually means either too much water was added, or the brush wasn't passed over the cake enough.

Your linework looks good and will continue to look more confident and smooth with practice. What aspects of the butterfly do you feel you are having trouble with?

These are good, I like the blending on the blue and gray/black and the teardrops on the orange/pink one but I agree with Angie, it looks like either the brush is too dry or the paint too watery.

BTW your eyes are so beautiful!

I'm finding with Diamond FX white that it doesn't look very 'White' when i use it for line work, especially if i go over another color, does anyone else have this issue, what brands do you suggest?

I am no help. I have snazaroo and dfx, I love dfx for line work but I heard wolfe has a great white.

DFX white is one of the best whites for line work...you just have to know how to use it. No white will work if you don't allow the paint beneathe it to dry. But as far as crispness and not bleeding into colors DFX and Wolfe are your best options.

I use DFX white and love it. Very crisp and opaque. It works best if you create a wet "well" in the center of your cake with some "liquid" paint in it for you to load from. I dip my brush into the well, then stroke it across the solid part of the cake to finish loading it and make a nice flat or pointed edge to my bristles. Brushes are picky... they need just the right loading and just the right stroke to come out perfect. It's kinda of trial-by-error, but it's like riding a bike... once you get it, you GET it. Very Happy

I am a wolfe white person...only because I just haven't gotten around to ordering DFX from the forum here to dry it. Your blending looks really good to me.
