does anyone have a step by step guide to birds with feathers, for a around the eye area look please?

I wish my "just started" photos looked that nice WM. Here's another sort of feathers, below. You may be looking for wispy feathers though?

Loving the birds ladies!

Don't know if this would help but here is a single feather I just did last week. I used a split cake, flat brush and a rake brush.
