My Daughter's First Body Painting
Well, actually, it's a back painting since she's only 7 but I wanted to share as I'm so proud of her for sitting for the session with very little complaining and only a few fidgit moments (you can see them in the line work, lol). Materials are all DFX/KRYOLAN Metallics/Interference DFX White and Paradise Black (because DFX stains her badly). Thanks for looking!

Outstanding!!!!!! Jayde she must have just loved!!!!! it. Beautiful color combo on her skintone and the shading looks really good. I know she didn't want to have to take it off. Well done Jayde....well done.
That would make for a stunning belly painting as well.....just a thought

Well...I guess you know what they say about being your own critic...
Really, thanks everyone, I am relatively pleased considering how some of the face painting I've done on her has turned out once she got bored, lol. Where are the mistakes? Well:
1. Right antennae: cockeyed due to an unexpected cough.
2. Left top swirl: a little wiggly and not sharp pointed because I hit a "tickle spot"
3. Right top wing swirls: loss of symmetry because of a sudden bout of giggling (she was watching Hannah Montana while I painted).
Tamara, she was infatuated for like 4 minutes, then it was back to business as usual. She was more excited about being able to pull a halter top out of storage during the winter.
...and the fact that i am running around the planet senseless is not just a rumor... it's an unmitigated fact, lol
Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate them. I now have to rangle up a design worthy of my 15 year old line backer's back.

Jayde, beautiful! I love the shading!
I need a cute little daughter that will sit still for painting.... Oh well... I stopped at 5 kids & now they're all teens & will have nothing to do with it
