I love the look of this table but I too am tall... 5'11" at my last physical, and I like to stand when I paint. Even my directors chair is about 4-5 inches too short for my taste. I currently work with a foldable black table that folds down to about the size of a breif case, but the legs are super extendable, so my paints re right up where I need them.

Looks like a great table - Thank- you for sharing!
I use a roll up table that goes in a bag over my shoulder - it's ultra light but not so stable and not big enough. This looks great - Tamara can you let us know if it nice and light when you get yours?

I am 6ft tall and I work standing out of my Fat max with no problem...... and this table is taller than that so it will be more than sufficient.

My new table just came in the mail.....Thank you very much Fed Ex.

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ittttttttttttttttt.

It stands just about 31" tall....which is actually an inch taller than my dining room table. it comes out of the bag ready to go. I love the latern pole to hang my signs and banners and the mesh bin to hold trash or sponges or whatever. it is very sturdy on it own without attaching the bottom shelf. It has a black heavy gauge canvas bag. This thing is going to get alot of use. The sink/wash bin is great and deep enough to put things you don't want touched.

There is not a bad thing I can say about this table. It has an attached handle to easily lift out of the bag. The detachable chrome rack that you can put on serves double duty for holding towel rolls and brush holder, but it also keeps any would be wandering hands from touching your stuff. At 22" tall the Fatmax will fit right under this thing.

This thing is definitely worth the price. The Black and chome look goes really really well with my black/chrome directors chair.

All I can say is options options options
Can you tell I love this thing??????

Hmmm...my dad has had a $50 bass pro gift card for over a year that he has yet to use. I might be able to talk him out of it and not have to spend so much.

I'm debating on getting that one too...How do you like it? Does it fit everything you have? Which one did you get?
For now I just got one of those rolling scrapbooking storage cases but I'm thinking eventually I might need to upgrade...especially for bigger events.

I have a Fatmax as well. But for certain event I don't need to carry EVERYTHING I have, which is why I got my table. My Fat Max serves double duty. Not only do I paint out of it....just used it this past weekend, but it is also my in home storage unit...so I don't have to have any FP stuff anywhere else in my house.

Believe me I loveeeeee my fatmax and it does get used, but this at least for me is a great alternative when i don't wish to use it.

Re: My new table

Post by ChangingFaceDesigns on Tue May 31, 2011 9:07 pm

I have had the oppotunity to use this table for my last 3 gigs and I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I love having the option of taking my FatMax or taking my table. So I essentially have a large gig set up and a small gig set up. I was also able to get a realy nice rolling craft/scrapbook tote on clearance at Michael's for 20 bucks.

I love the table has it's own trash bin has a bottom shelf and where you would hang a lantern is tall enough to hold a nice size banner or display board. The metal rack is great for hold things and with the way I position my director's chair when I use it.......it is not possible for anyone to touch anything or get around to where I am to see.

HI again,
I shared this idea with my bf and he just bought something similiar for camping at REI. It weigh 30 lbs (ugh) but since we already have it I am going to give it a try the next couple of shows this month.
How sturdy does your Bass Pro table feel?? I really like the back rack feature for hanging stuff on it, like a reference sheet of photos or brushes as you show in your gallery pictures.
