I am enjoying following this thread and noticed the rosey cheecks, optional glitter and lilac eyeshadow and lashes and carrot finger...wow put these all together and cant go wrong! But to teeth or not to teeth, that is the question!
Thanks gals!

Do a bunny with no teeth, take a picture, then add the teeth and take another picture. You might even try tiny bunny teeth first (like Lisa Joy Young says in the video above) and then make them bigger. Compare photos after and decide what you like best. If you like it without the teeth, then only do them if the kid specifically asks for it.

I think I forgot to show mine (be kind, it's my first):

P.S. How did bunnies ever get a reputation for purple eye shadow anyway? That always puzzled me.

Bunnies, bunnies, everywhere....

Post by Denise Cold on Thu Apr 21, 2011 7:41 pm

Here's some thumbnails to designs in my gallery that I was playing with for my "holiday" gallery. I tried the Lisa Joy Young face on myself...I need someone about 40 years younger for this! LOL. It's pretty bad.

I do like my "running" bunnies. They're very easy brush strokes and go fast. The eggs were actually harder.

Your running bunnies look great! Mind if I borrow that idea? Did you consider putting a little tail on them?

well done. The rabbit just is not my favourite face to paint . . . if i can convince the child to change their mind I do... "Oh a rabbit, wow OR would you like a Cool Kitty Cat?" and then I show them 2 options for cats and they usually pick one of those . . . Easter on the other hand is more difficult and can't be avoided so much.

I found this one while googling but I couldn't find the creator, sorry. As Aussie I like "non-teeth" rabbits and I thought this one was soooo cute.

Thanks - she is great. Love her paintings!

It is hard to avoid the teeth . . . a girl asked for a rabbit on the weekend and I talked her out of it, thank goodness - she got a cat instead YEAH! BUT I really should do more rabbits so I can improve and perhaps even get to like them - that might be a stretch! Perhaps i should aim to get to the point where I just can do them without hating it so much.

i did a few Spidies on the weekend and actually enjoyed them - I thought I wouldn't but i was pleased with the result. so I need to changed my attitude towards Bunny rabbits!
