Also, I happened to have a bottle of "Goo Gone 2" on hand for that $&#*(&#*( sticker. Plastic-safe. It worked great, no odor. I finished the cleanup with ammonia based window cleaner.

I'm thinking about painting the bar-arms with peppermint stripes, and then painting (decoupage sounds good - but I'm a painter...right...??Lol) little peppermints scattered around the thing. The my carousel pony logo on the front, riding it's peppermint cane. Yeay. As soon as it stops being TWELVE DEGREES.

I did a search today on my local craigslist for fatmax and I found someone who is selling one brand new for $50. I think I'm going to take the plunge. I checked them out at lowes today and although a bit short for my preference, j think j can make it work. I think I'll decoupage mine. Since I'm a fairy, I'd prefer not having it all black ...

Thanks!...I used acrylic paint...Plaid Folk Art...outdoor and regular..it really doesn't matter...i have since had my husband pop off the logo too...has little holes there...going to see if i can fill them in and then paint over that ...put my phone number there...than ks again!
