This vs. That - Comparing Brands side by side (Picture Heavy)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my paradise beach berry (the "cool" side of red) and it smells great.

OK for those who have expressed interest in the Lumieres and the Interferenze here are color swatches of each palette. I love them both. Colors come out beautifully when applied properly

Here is the Ben Nye Grande Colour Lumieres (I prefer to use them dry or with a very slighty damp sponge to cover a larger area)



Here is the Kryolan Interferenze (the color closest to my elbow is the elusive and no longer available Bach Blue) to be used wet, but again I prefer to use them with as little water as possible or just as they are applied with my finger or a slightly damp sponge.

Here is a comparison of three greens. I feel that the DFX and TAG are exactly the same and the Paradise is just a smidge greener. DFX and TAG go on nicer though.

But a side note: The TAG stained the least, but it was only on my arm for about 10 minutes.

I believe that bach blue is the interferenz GB?? it's still available over here...starmagic gets it from a supplier in germany...
I love that colour!!

I'm still a stong paradise fan, to me it stays very consistent from one batch to the next and best of all it's made right here in the USA!

Thanks Mandi! But I don't think Metina carries TAG gold, or is the gold called 'pearl' instead of metallix?

It's called Pearl Gold & the other's are Pearl Old Gold & Pearl Copper.

And the Kryolan are so lovely too. I've read on here they have a strong smell, what's your thoughts on this. I have some paradise & love the smell of it. Is Kryolan stronger than Paradise in smell?

Wow, that tag pear green and the dfx metallix green look the same.

Kim, tag's metallics are called "pearls"

I have the dfx metallix gold and it looks more like yellow.

Does anyone have a suggestion about silvers?
I'm getting ready to order this weekend.. and silver is on my list of 'wants'.

I've read several other posts... it seems that there's some issues with silver....

I LOVE the greens... I was wondering.. if you put a base of another color down beneath the green, would that help prevent staining?

maggie, you were spot on with the recommendation of the Old Gold (TAG). It's lovely!

I am thinking of buying TAG 'pearl' colors instead of DFX because of cost.. and mostly... the feel... DFX seems somewhat drier than the TAG colors.
