Thanks Martha, I'll check it out.

It's not that I'm not unhappy with Snaz, but I do LOVE rich color & strong pigments. I sooooo love this forum! ;0)

This is a really awesome thread, I was trying to find comparison pictures to give me a better idea of what to buy but pictures of the colours in the pallets are useless, this is much more effective, thanks.

I know this post goes way back, but what an educational thread. Hav read it twice. Lol. Love the comparisons and comments. Am ordering now, but have another question. If purchasing a rainbow cake for masks and rainbows would you go neon or standard? What seems to be most popular? Also round or rectangle. Thanks.

I have a homemade standard rainbow and a TAG Neon rainbow and the second wins hands down with the girls. I use them for rainbow tigers, butterflies and of course rainbows in general. I prefer the retangle containers for easy of loading a sponge and they fit together better in a case.

If you have both a regular rainbow and a UV rainbow on the table... 99.9% of the people will choose the UV rainbow if you ask them which they want you to use.

I agree with Shannon, sometimes I don't even get it out because I know every single butterfly is going to be requested in that color. I do get a fair amount of requests for the pastel rainbow, but only when they see the pictures, not the actual cake.

Anyone have swatches of TAG Midnight Sky Cake or onestroke vs the TAG Snowflake?? I can't decide which one to get and would love to see it on skin. Obviously the Midnight Sky is darker. Really would love to see pics asap if anyone has any they could share?

Here are the TAG Neon Rainbow vs Mont Marte Neon. The blue however is just the standard light blue that MM makes, as there is no neon in this band yet.

I think the MM pink is brighter than Tag.
I will be making my own Neon Rainbow from MM when the Tag runs out, just replacing each colour as needed in the original container.

Thanks Gaebell, we all learn from sharing knowledge. Have never seen Tag Magenta neon nor Pink neon so just called it 'pink'.Embarassed
So...(edited) "I think the MM neon pink is brighter than Tag Neon Magenta." Razz

Cattsy, I ordered it last night. I will swipe it for you when it arrives, if someone else hasn't already.
I saw a swatch at Jest Paint, but it still didn't give me a great idea of colour. I saw somewhere else on FPF that it (Paradise Beach Berry) is more red like for Spiderman, whereas the Paradise "Red" is more of a brownish-red which is the perfect blood colour.
Anyone know for sure?

I figured I would do a bunch of swipes of my Paradise colors for peeps to see since I was looking for more :p

From left to right:
Paradise Mauve
Paradise Purple
Paradise Deep Sea
Paradise Blue Lagoon
Paradise Lt. Green
Paradise Green <- this is from the basics pallette an is only labelled as "green" but I'm pretty sure it's the dark green (hope so anyway cause that's what I reordered)

Paradise Lt Brown
Paradise Brown <- Again from the basics pallette, though I suspect this is Dk brown?
Paradise Storm Cloud
Paradise Red
Paradise Orange

These were taken outside with a Canon SLR with no flash.

Hi I just used my neon tag rainbow today on my model (lil girl) and had a class and a playdate and wow wow wow the comments from moms and watching the other childrens eyes pop was so encouraging. I actually had some moms ask for cards. (dont have any) pale But I just really want to thank all of you for the incredible advice, how to videos and help. And a special thanks to Metina for the site and Suzie for always answering my questions about paints, poofs and glitters.. Now to make some splits. Very Happy
