troubles with my website!!

I created a free website using wix.com then I bought a domain name from godaddy.com and redirected it. I can't get my site to pull up using the new name!! I am using Internet Explorer. I have had other people try it and they said they it worked, but they weren't using IE.
Can some of you please try to pull up www.FACEtasticParty.com and just see if it comes up?? And let me know what browser you are using. If you also have IE I am anxious to know if it's working for you! thanks!

I can see it although it took a while to load. It's just my personal preference, but I'd pick one page layout and stick with it throughout your site. The pages feel very disconnected to me and the menu keeps changing location from page to page.

@Suzy~thx! and yeah I know I'm cheap, but for some reason around here, people still seem to sneer at my prices!! Since I'm still newER to getting my name out there, I wanna get lots of bookings first and have to start refusing people before I go up. Gotta get my name out there!

@Perry~I have definately thought about that... just takes TIME!!! Ugh. If only I had more of it. Eventually I will revamp my site to match, it will definately look better. BTW-what browser do you use since it worked for you?

Incidentally, you may not be getting as much business as you'd like BECAUSE your prices are too low... people don't take your work seriously if it is under priced. It's always slower in the winter here, my first year I had nothing at all for three months in the winter time, but now I've got one party almost every weekend even with all the snow outside. It takes time more than anything, but keeping your prices in line with the other painters in your area places you in the same professional league as them and avoids making them angry with you for undercutting them.

Your pricing packages are a little confusing.
An hour is an hour is an hour. Know what I mean.
Whether they want full faces, arm art, cheek art.

You are still there an hour.

I was able to access your site too using firefox and google chrome! I agree with these other ladies, even if you are just starting, you want your rates to be comparable to the other painters in your area! Don't undersell yourself, you are a terrific artist! Plus they aren't just paying for your time but for your supplies and face paints are EXPENSIVE!!!

Most of you seem to use Firefox. So now I'm wondering if anyone using IE can see it at all! Because I can't! I might be potentially losing some business if they can't see my website. Still curious to know if anyone else can see it using IE. ???

I use Firefox most of the time, but I have IE as well as Google Chrome. Your site loaded fine in all three for me.

To me, it's your fee for additional time that seems unusually low. Basically you are cutting your time after the first hour in half, rather than just giving a reduction.

I can see it in Firefox but it is still at wix.com It might not be a browser issue. If you recently redirected the domain name (changed the dns) then it might only be partially propagated throughout the internet. That means it depends on the viewer's computer (which site it is using to look up the site) where it goes. Don't worry, that will take up to a couple of days but they will all change.


Oh, and raise your prices!

Hey, so I use IE. I had read this post earlier in the day and tried it, and the site actually locked up on me, but I figured you may have been in it working on the problem, so tried again just now and was able to load okay, but when checking out the additional pages got this message a few times : LibMgr: FAILED LOADING COMPONENT TYPES! I was able to hit my back button on my browser and go back in, but the message did come up at least once each time I tried to open all the pages, like a "real" customer would.

Gina-I redirected the name a couple weeks ago so it should be fine by now. I've just never been able to get into it using that address. I have to type in the full wix address.
