Glitter tattoos what kind of container
what kind of containers do you put your glitter tattoos in.....
Re: Glitter tattoos what kind of container
Glimmer just came out with the most awesome case. It holds 300 different stencils, and I have it. It rocks!!! I have more just like it.
Re: Glitter tattoos what kind of container
I honestly just keep my stencils in a small box that is made to organize 3x5 notecards. I use dividers to keep them separated by category.

I put stencils in a photo album - a dollar store one meant for 4x6 photos - easy and fast to flip through in my lap, and easy to remove what I need.

I bought 2 boxes from the Dollar Store 4x6 sized.
I put dividers in between with numbered tags in each. I have a display book that all stencils are numbered. When someone asks for #43, I just go to the box, tab #43 and pull a stencil.
Best system by far. I have tried everything.

This is great! I just got home from my wonderful trip to Silly Farm and I picked up two glimmer kits and some of Mama Clown's glitter! I am totally going to get the 4x6 box and do the "number file" method!!! I'm so excited to add glitter tattoos to my gigs!
Re: Glitter tattoos what kind of container
Thought I'd dust off this old post with a little new glitter and say that I am using a CD wallet (4 to a page) with a zipper to store my stencils. Works great so far haven't had any slip out.
I choose my tattoos carefully so only have about 30 or so popular designs and I have plenty of room to expand if I see the need.
I had a really good response to them today, which is the first real day I've displayed a poster of the designs. I don't think anyone really understood what they were before then. AND... It looks like they're a first for this area because the older kids, even mums, ooohed and aaahed over them. It probably won't be long before others get the idea... but for now I don't mind rolling in glitter
But before I get too excited... I need more glitter!!! And possibly another case to store it all in. Aaah, I'm not sure I ever really make any money because I just keep shopping for my business. I am in start-up phase though and been testing the water so far, does that justify it? lol.

Trinkie,
That is so fun that you get to be the first one to introduce glitter tattoos. That happened to me too and it was cool to see everyone's reaction to them. Boy it didn't take long though for everyone else to catch on to good business, now they are all over the place at festivals and such. Haha, it was fun while it lasted though, enjoy it!

Haha, yes... I know it won't last (me being the only one in my area). Ride the wave and do what I can to stay on top and be different to the others. That's the best I can hope for. But it sure was encouraging to see the interest in what I could offer this weekend. And they just look so very pretty. So shiny and precise!
I just ordered several more of the most popular stencils. I have a big gig coming up this Thursday and I'm trying to rope in a friend to help me out. I'll need all the hands i can muster!
Personally I like offering a variety of 'products'. It does set me apart. Face painting, glitter tattoos, twisted balloons, helium balloons. When I have the time I'd like to try henna as well. But my focus is on quality and design.
I only have one set of hands... SO FRUSTRATING. If only I were an octopus

Re: Glitter tattoos what kind of container
Have you made up a poster with all the designs? That made ALL the difference for me. I also include a photo of a glitter tattoo so they get the idea. Nothing happened at all until I made up that poster and put it on prominent display. The words 'glitter tattoo' apparently didn't mean a thing until ppl could see what they were buying, go figure!
Maybe it helps that I live in sunny beachside climate in Oz and coming into summer... lots of bare skin?
Sounds like the climate may be working against you for the next few months.
