Thank you for that Kryolan tip. I'm really specific about linework on base colors so I'm glad I didn't invest in it to be disappointed. I never wet the paints. I just use the old fashioned dab o water on the sponge and dab off excess until I'm happy with the moistness of it. I swipe when I do the furry edges as well and sometimes I'll press and drag for a smoother edge like on a princess mask.

Wolfe is a low moisture face paint & you probably have too much water if you're dipping your sponge & wringing it out. My suggestion is go to Target's travel section & get a small spray bottle for $1. Try spraying your sponge. I used to dunk & when I found this technique it changed everything!
