Magical Mr. Clean!

Post by Amanda on Sat Apr 02, 2011 12:12 am

I don't know about anyone else, but I have had a heck of a time trying to clean my water containers. No matter how hard I scrub I can't get them clean looking, and I know how that must look to clients. So tonight I had an epiphany... The mr. Clean Magic Eraser! I've had them sitting under my sink forever, untouched. I was so frustrated trying to scrub my bucket that I figured I'd give it a try. I took a before pic just in case... Now mind you this was after I'd already scrubbed the stupid thing...

Photobucket

Now here is the after... It cleaned SO easy! I barely had to do more than wipe it! The groves in the bottom were too tricky to get between, but other than that the thing looks almost new!

Just thought I'd share!

Hmm... that's a big improvement! Those Magic Erasers are great!

My water tub cleans up easy, but I wash my brushes in it with soap. So the soap keeps it from getting covered in paint.

I remember when the erasers first came out and there was a circulating panic email saying that the erasers caused "chemical burns" on kids. My first thought was, um, no, they're just really abrasive and secondly, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU USING THEM ON YOUR KIDS FOR!!!
Natural selection, I'm all over it.

It acts as a sandpaper so it will burn your skin right off! What was she thinking using it on a kid. What a dolt!

FYI I tested the eraser on a stained practice head skin and it didn't even phase it. I guess it isn't all powerful after all!

Um, I was just kidding about the whole "using it on my kids" comment! I was merely commenting on how wonderful they are on getting EVERYTHING clean! I mean, I still use Johnson's Baby Shampoo on my children, and they are far over infancy!

LOL! I hope so Maggie! I can just imagine it now, hosing the children down with the garden hose and then scrubbing them down with the magic eraser! CRAZINESS!!!

I just used the eraser this morning on some tough scuff marks that were made on my wall by my son's bike... He was trying to be a BMX'r in my living room! Those marks have been there for days, I tried everything! With just a few strokes of the eraser, they were gone! I LOVE IT!!!

I didn't mean you Jendez, but the lady mentioned about the skin burn. Hope I didn't offend!

We used them in the pre-school I worked at (had to quit last month due to school scheduling issues). What with all the crayon and paint marks all over the little tables and counters, the magic eraser is the only way we kept those rooms looking presentable! Literally 2 swipes and the crayon marks were GONE. Mr. Clean made my job sooooooo much easier!

Don't forget Ladies if you spray your practice head with hairspray allow it to dry completely (only a few seconds) then paint on them. The paint will wash straight off under a running tap.

And if you use shaving foam on your practice head that has been marked by Wolfe, it cleans the pigment off.....
