PASHUR'S 2011 Class in Columbus

Anyone signed up for Pashur's class coming up in June?
I'm thrilled to be going!!!

No, but I am looking into it, The first day will be the one I am aiming for.

Hey there Eva, I just e-mailed Pashur, only 3 spots left so I'm gonna try to grab one. It will be my 1st class, I'm excited. It takes us aboiut 2 hrs I think to get to Kings Island when we go. I don't have anyone to Jam with around here. It would be nice to do for sure. Do you know of any or do you attend any? Maybe we should get something started.

Where can I get the info for these classes? I have family in Ohio and would be a good excuse to go visit with them and attend a class!

Hey there Auntie M, I just sent payment to him, the website said there were 3 spots left so I took a chance that it is still open. Hope it was, the site hasn't been updated since April 6 so I am holding my breath! This will be my 1st class of any kind and I am freaking out!!

Do you know where it will be held? What time and what to bring? I am assuming, he will send this info via e-mail? It says it is a boy/ girl class, does that mean designs for childrens faces or is it male /female body painting? Whatever it is ,it will be ok with me, just the chance to learn from him will be AWESOME!!!!

I do not currently have a group I jam with. I have a friend who paints with me, but we learned together so we don't offer each other too much.

Auntie M and Jody..maybe we can try to put something together in the next couple months. . . search and seek out if there is anyone else on here that 's local

I am seriously considering trying to snag one of the last spots. I hope they hold out to pay day. I think if I did one day I could just drive up and back...i think it's like 1.5 to 2 hours from me.

TIME: 10am - 6:00pm

BOY & GIRL FACE PAINT DESIGNS

ITINERARY

10am - 11:30am : Brush up on Linework

11:30am - 1:00pm : Lunch Break

1:00pm - 6:00pm : Boy & Girl Designs

DEMOS INCLUDE: Asian Dragon,
Mermaid (across the face), Sparkling Fairy, Dazzling Glitter Necklace, Mardi Gras Mask, Flaming Eyeball Design plus 3 full face designs: Monster Face, Football Player and Dora the Explorer!

DETAILS: Demo & Hands-On, Sponge & Brush Face Painting.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner and/or Intermediate

CLASS SIZE: 12 people max.

LUNCH: We will have a 1 hour break for lunch. Lunch expenses are on your own.

AGE LIMIT: You must be at least 15 years old to take this class.

SUPPLIES TO BRING: Your face paint kit, a #10 filbert, a #4 round brush, baby wipes, camera, extra camera batteries, sketch pad and pen.

COST: $100 per student.

Woohoo! Near Kings Island? I'm up by Wilmington! We're like, max 30 minutes from each other. Southern Ohio jam would be AMAZING. I wouldn't mind working a few festivals with someone either to get my feet wet.

I travel to Wilmington often. It is like 25 -40 depending on which side of hamilton...traffic can be ferocious there... Later today I am gonna move this to a new thread, so they can continue the training thread. I will start it under upcoming events. North Central USA

unfortunetly I won't be able to go to Columbus training with Pashur...finances aren't allowing between bills, sons bday, and easter.

Thank you for the info, but I think with being at the convention just the week before I probably won't be able to go to this one...I was hoping it was later in the month...
